Choosing an LED based printer over a laser based printer is a personal choice. Each technology uses a completely different dither pattern. Laser printers tend to produce a more "feathered" dither - which some people like and think looks better.

I use this printer to print off powerpoint presentations at 6 slides per page for med school and it does an outstanding job. As I said, this printer does very well printing illustrations and diagrams etc..

The only reason this printer didn't get an Excellent is there is nothing that really wow'd me. I've used Okidata printers for 15+ years now and I have never had a serious problem with them. GREAT DEAL!!!
