I purchased this printer for general office printing and have been very impressed with the print quality and speed...The first page out is very acceptable...The printer is rather heavy which is standard for this type of printer...
Pros: Excellent Print Quality, Easy Installation, Great Speed, Web-Interface Cons: Hard to find, a bit noisy but not bad, and lacks a multipurpose tray. The Bottom Line: Definantely would recommend to anyone looking for a color laser printer. Other brands

It emulates several other different printers. I was able to use it with some very old software and replaced an old dot matrix printer.

Fill up the toner cartridges up to the top and you get
a very good price per printed page (between 2p and 4.5p)

if you like it nice and quiet and your colour prints

This printer seemed pretty good at first, but the warranty does not cover "consumables". Our OPC belt cartridge (which is used to hold the image electrostatically) started to fail after 100 days, leaving streaks and smudges on the printed pages.
The brother cant handle anything but perfectly flat paper. Trying to print anything double sided without using the duplex is near impossible!!! The paper tray can only handle 4 sheets of paper without having a fit.
