The HP Deskjet D2545 Green Printer continues the trend of excellence and affordability in their printer line. Functionally, there are no added features. However, this new printer is made of 83% recycles plastic and is EnergyStar certified. While that may not seem a good enough reason to buy one printer over another, the D2535 is priced similarly and functions similarly to other printers in its class. When it comes to paper saving, there is a print cancel button to stop those unwanted jobs.

Reviews From Across the Internet

Experts have viewed the D2545 favorably in relation to its class. This printer does what it is supposed to do and it has the added benefit of being “green”. Some might see the printer as lacking options, while other may view it as being streamlined for environmental friendliness. If all you want to do is print simple office documents as opposed to photos, then this printer is a fine choice. If you do want to print photos, consider spending a little more for a printer that has a few more options such as scanning and copying as well as providing additional card slots.

Summary

Customers have liked the simplicity of this printer when using it for its intended purpose, simple office documents. While replacement ink costs $30 for a printer that only cost $45 originally, it is possible to refill the cartridges to continue the theme of green.
